“No More Sage Advice”
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to bloom “
- Anaïs Nin
“No More Sage Advice”
Once upon a time there was a woman who lived alone in her cottage by the sea. Pilgrims would stop to ask her sage advice. This continued for many years until she put up a sign on her door saying:
“No more sage advice. I really don’t know anything.”
And she left to go on a pilgrimage herself. She traveled the world looking for the sage advice she had lost.
“Love,” a small child exclaimed to her. “Love,” an aging man whispered to her. “Love,” a newlywed couple declared to her. She looked up and saw that “Love” was written on a cloud in the sky.
She returned to her cottage and put up a new sign:
“Love is all I’ve got to share with you … Come right in!”
